Star McKenzie thought her DeKalb County water bill was an anomaly when it suddenly skyrocketed. Soon she heard similar stories from other residents and founded the Unbelievable DeKalb Water Bills Facebook group for people to share their experiences. The group now has about 3,500 members who work to shine a light on the dysfunction in DeKalb County Watershed. McKenzie joined the Decaturish Podcast to talk about her work and offer her suggestions about what could be done to improve water billing in DeKalb.
