This Friday, Aug. 17, at 6:30 p.m., come out to Decatur’s ARRRRgust Third Friday Bike Ride. August’s theme is “Ride Like a Pirate.”

The bike ride will be 6 miles, at a social pace, through neighborhoods around the city, followed by refreshments. Participants are required to wear helmets and encouraged to wear pirate attire.

Those interested should meet in front of the Decatur Recreation Center, located at 231 Sycamore Street. Be prepared to start riding at 6:30 p.m.

This bike ride is geared towards adults, and thus it is not recommended to bring children.
