Mike Thurmond has one of the toughest gigs in Atlanta right now: being the CEO of DeKalb County. Thurmond was elected in 2016 and since then he has been at work trying to clean up dysfunction and corruption in county government and, more importantly, change the public’s perception of it.

He agreed to chat with us for this week’s episode of the Podcast to tell us about what he’s been up to and where DeKalb County is headed.
