The Decatur City Commission has canceled its planned office hours this week with commissioner Brian Smith, according to the city.

The City Commission originally planned to have virtual office hours this Wednesday with Smith and again in September with commissioner Kelly Walsh.

Smith’s session was canceled due to a conflict with the Community Open House – a public event taking place Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. for community input on the new city manager search – and there are no current plans to reschedule.

Walsh’s session has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 3 and will be broadcast live online.

Questions related to the topic may be submitted live via Twitter, Facebook, email or telephone. For those unable to watch the live sessions, recordings of the sessions will be available on the website for viewing at any time. To see previous open office hours, click here.
