The 12th annual Kirkwood Wine Stroll will roll into town on Friday, Sept. 21, bringing together global wine samples, local food and live music.

Businesses throughout the historic Kirkwood neighborhood will open their doors and invite guests to sample wines from around the world while they enjoy the community experience, according to an event press release. With each ticket purchased, guests receive a souvenir wine glass and program.

Over 40 locations are participating, with 84 samples of red and white wines throughout the stroll. There will also be local craft beer from Second Self Beer Company and Eventide Brewing available for purchase (separate from the ticketed wine stroll experience).

The event will take place from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. in the downtown Kirkwood historic district, rain or shine, and tickets are $40 until the week before the event or $50 the week of the event or at the gates. Tickets can be purchased here.

Proceeds from the Wine Stroll will be used to enhance the downtown business district and help fund other Kirkwood organizations and events, the release said.

For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the event website. The event is for people 21 years of age or older, and photo ID is required.
