Decatur Craft Beer Festival to celebrate 20th year, Oct. 19 and 20

The Decatur Craft Beer Festival is gearing up for its 20th year on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 12 to 5 p.m. on the Decatur Square.
Come out and enjoy a variety of beer to the tunes of live music throughout the afternoon. Proceeds will go to benefit community nonprofit organizations in Decatur.
As far as admission goes, there are two types of tickets available for the event: general admission and VIP.
A general admission ticket is $50 per person and comes with “a special tasting glass and unlimited sips from more than 80 breweries,” according to their website.
A VIP ticket is $100 per person and includes special event beers from Georgia craft brewers as well as a VIP entrance.

In addition to Saturday’s festivities, there will be a pre-festival event, Mystery Brew Ride, on Friday, Oct. 19.
Starting at 5 p.m., participants will ride in a pedal cart to one of the “mystery locations” for beer and food pairing. In addition, each location will include a commemorative glass and a brewmaster talk.
