Local attorney will appear on ‘Jeopardy!’ next month

Adam Francois Watkins, a local attorney, will appear on “Jeopardy!”
His episode will debut on Oct. 5.
Watkins lives in Druid Hills and he filmed this promo for the show:
Watkins graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2006. He was a Ray Eder Scholar, Chayes Fellow, Henigson Human Rights Fellow, and Articles Editor for the Harvard Journal on Legislation.
“He recently represented the majority of New York City Council Members and the New York City Public Advocate as amici curiae in the successful challenge to New York City’s ‘soda ban’ in the New York Court of Appeals,” according to his company’s website.
Other local guests on the game show have included DeKalb County GOP Chairman Lane Flynn, Lilly Chin, who hails from greater Decatur, and Decatur resident Claudia Stucke.
The show airs Monday through Friday at 7:30 p.m. on Atlanta’s 11 Alive.
