On Sept. 29, from 2 to 4:30 p.m., Woodlands Garden is hosting the 8th annual, Fairies in the Garden, located at 932 Scott Blvd in Decatur.

Partnering with Skyland Trail, Fairies in the Garden is a free event, and all are invited to “hunt for the fairy homes, hands-on crafts for all ages, and the ever-popular Summoning of the Fairies parade” and come in their “best fairy costume,” according to a recent press release.

The fairy houses are made by artists from Skyland Trail, utilizing natural materials such as bark, twigs, leaves, moss, and more.

Attendees will be given a map and hints to find all of the fairy houses along the Woodlands Garden trails.

According to a recent press release, the “event was designed to help children of all ages recognize and appreciate the art that lies within nature.”
