On Thursday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m., the Women’s Resource Center to End Domestic Violence is hosting its 27th Annual Candlelight Vigil remembrance of domestic violence victims.

The Candlelight Vigil will be prefaced by a program of speakers and musical performance, which will lead into candle lighting for each Georgia citizen killed in the last year by an abusive partner.

Held at the bandstand in downtown Decatur, attendees are encouraged to arrive at 6:45 p.m. at the Decatur Square Gazebo. A recent press release estimates 200 people will attend.
