On Sept. 13, “The Transformers: Artistic Alchemy” art exhibit opened at Agnes Scott College’s Dalton Gallery, and it will be open until Dec. 8.

On Oct. 8, at 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., the exhibit will be featuring gallery presentations from senior art history and art majors at Agnes Scott.

Gallery exhibitions are free and open to the public, Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.

According to the Dalton Gallery website, this installation is named after the transformation that is present in the making of art.

“The Transformers in this exhibition are artists who begin with a recognizable object as the raw material for their act of transformation,” states the Dalton Gallery website.
