Local restaurant chain gusto! has set an Oct. 18 open date for its new restaurant in North Decatur Square.

North Decatur Square will be anchored by a Whole Foods 365 store. The address for the greater Decatur location is 1545 Church Street, Suite 310, Decatur, GA 30033.

The restaurant specializes in bowls and wraps, “that highlight fresh, high-quality ingredients and bold flavor combinations and don’t hide behind gimmicks or trends. They are served fast and without breaking the bank.”

The restaurant will preview its Medical Monday promotion on Oct. 15.

“Every week, those who work in the medical field can show their badges at the Decatur restaurant to receive ‘buy one, get one free; meals on Mondays,” a company press release says.

Additionally, on Monday, Oct. 15, gusto! Decatur is previewing its “Medical Monday” promotion exclusively to the nearby medical community. Every week, those who work in the medical field can show their badges at the Decatur restaurant to receive “buy one, get one free” meals on Mondays.

The restaurant’s team greets guests by asking “what’s your gusto?” Inspired by both international cuisine and familiar American flavors, gustos – like sweet soy sriracha, chile sesame bbq or tahini cucumber feta – can be hot, bright, earthy or sweet. They all bring the food to life with freshness and flavor, not fat. The next steps are as simple as picking a style (mixed greens, Jasmine brown rice, half greens and half rice or a flatbread wrap) and adding a protein (chicken, shrimp or portabella mushroom). The menu atgusto! features all-natural, antibiotic-free chicken and, whenever possible, local and organic ingredients. The Decatur restaurant features the modern industrial décor that gusto! has become known for but with a warmer look thanks to custom wood booths and tabletops along with a wood feature wall illuminated by inspirational signage. Hybl enlisted designer Lindsay Denman to design the 2,400-square-foot space, which also displays the brand’s white and signature sunshine yellow color palette for a bright, cheerful ambiance.
