On Saturday, Oct. 27, starting at 5 p.m., the Haints & Saints Halloween Parade returns to downtown Decatur for its eighth year.
The parade will include “local marching bands, tricked-out hearses, floats, classic cars,” according to a recent press release, and everyone is invited to march in it.
Earlier that day, shops in Decatur will be a part of Storefront Saturday at 12 p.m. Businesses will dole out candy as well as have special deals on their products.
Parade participants will start lining up at 4 p.m. at the post office, located at 520 W. Ponce de Leon Ave. in Decatur. Following the parade, everyone will meet on the Decatur Square for “a musical jam session.”
