DeKalb County Police say a man marking a road for future utility work was struck and killed by a vehicle on Saturday morning, Oct. 6.

The incident happened around 8 a.m. at N. Druid Hills Road and Kittredge Park Road.

“The person that was struck and killed by the vehicle, appeared to be marking the roadway for some pending utility work,” Maj. Jerry Lewis told Decaturish. “The driver of the vehicle remained on scene with no charges pending at this time. The investigation is ongoing.”
