Between Oct. 19 and Nov. 18, Westchester Elementary School is holding a month-long open call for local bands to compete in its Battle of the Bands fundraiser.

The musical battle will be hosted at the Avondale Towne Cinema on Friday, March 22, 2019.

According to a recent press release, this “high-energy, adult-only, on-your-feet, dancing good time” will raise money for the Westchester Elementary School community, benefiting its students and faculty.

If your band is interested in competing in Battle of the Bands, submit a video or audio clip of your band’s music, cover or original songs. The entry fee for a submission is $25, which will go to the Westchester PTA.

The lineup of bands will be made public on Dec. 8.
