Decatur Police on Oct. 23 received a report about a man exposing himself to a 19-year-old woman on South Columbia Drive.

The incident occurred on Oct. 20 and the woman’s mother called Decatur Police a few days later.

“The daughter reported to her mother that she was walking northbound on South Columbia Drive near Inman Drive on October 20, 2018 at approximately 1:30 p.m. when she was flagged down for directions by a man who was inside of a vehicle,” the police report says. “As her daughter was answering the man’s question, the man pulled out his penis and began masturbating. Her daughter immediately began walking away from the vehicle, and as she was walking away, the man asked her to stay and watch. Her daughter left the area without further incident.”

The report describes the suspect as a black male, late 30’s-early 40’s, average height, skinny build, with a goatee and driving a silver sedan.
