A year after announcing a year-long hiatus, Lion Tamer Bread has decided to close for good.

The company in January 2018 announced its plans to temporarily close. It was located at 1248 Clairmont Road.

The business opened in February 2015 and is owned by Brian Dulisse. When he announced the hiatus last year, he said he hoped “to return bigger and better somewhere, sometime in 2018.”

But this week the he confirmed that he was unable to make it work.

“Lion tamer is closed for good unless … someone backs a dump truck full of money up to my house, but i’m not holding my breath,” Dulisse said in an email.
