On Thursday, Jan. 31, at 7 p.m., the Decatur Parents Network Speaker Series is hosting Executive Director of GUIDE, Inc., Jessica Andrews-Wilson is returning to the network for, “40 Things to Help Your Kid Succeed.”

Andrews-Wilson is bringing tips to Decatur teenagers and their families when faced with hurdles during their adolescence. According to the event description, her talk will include a review of “assets to nurture teen development toward good health, caring, and responsibility.”

Following Andrews-Wilson’s talk, there will be information provided on “various evidence-based programs to prevent substance misuse,” according to the event description.

This Speaker Series will be held in the media center of Renfroe Middle School, located at 220 West College Avenue in Decatur.
