Every Friday night in February, people traveling to and from Decatur can get a $5 discount on Lyft rides in certain parts of the city, according to a city newsletter.

Each week, you can use a different code in the Lyft app to receive the discount, which only applies between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. each Friday. The codes, which must be entered before requesting a ride, are as follows:

– Feb. 8: FRIDEC0208

– Feb. 15: FRIDEC0215

– Feb. 22: FRIDEC0222

After entering the code, the applied credit will display on the ride payment screen. Additionally, users must have the app in “personal” mode for the code to apply.

The discount only applies to certain areas in Decatur, with different pick-up and drop-off zones each weeks. The coverage area can be viewed in the Lyft app and is listed below:
