Decatur Police say two men stole a Decatur High School student’s truck while the student was in class on Friday, Feb. 15.

Police responded to the call around 1:38 p.m. The student told the officer that hiss white 2004 Ford F250 King Ranch pick-up truck with GA tag #RIH6061 was taken from the parking lot.

“The victim reported at approximately 12:40 p.m. he received a text message from a friend advising they witnessed the truck being taken by two unknown males,” Police Lt. Jennifer Ross said. “The victim verified his truck was gone. SRO Keck spoke to the witness who reported she was inside her vehicle in the upper parking lot and observed two unknown males enter the victim’s truck, sit inside for a minute and then drive off westbound on West Howard Avenue. The witness described the two suspects as black males, late teens-early 20’s, wearing big jackets with one of the jackets having some type of pattern on it.”
