Atlanta Police recover Lexus stolen from Decatur

Atlanta Police recovered a Lexus that was stolen from Decatur and later abandoned.

Lt. Jennifer Ross said the theft occurred this week in the 200 block of Mountain View Street.

An officer responded to the call on March 6.

“The victim reported his daughter parked his black 2000 Lexus ES300 in front of his home the night before at approximately 10 p.m. and he discovered the vehicle missing the on March 6, 2019 at 7 a.m.,” Lt. Jennifer Ross said. “The victim also reported a second vehicle parked at the location had been entered and items were moved out of the console onto the seats, but nothing appeared to be missing. The stolen Lexus was recovered abandoned by the Atlanta Police Department later in the afternoon on March  6, 2019.”
