If you are living in the city of Decatur, you are living in the best community in Georgia, Niche.com says.
Decatur placed No. 1 on Niche’s annual list of Best Places to Live in Georgia.
“Decatur is a suburb of Atlanta with a population of 22,022,” Niche.com says. “Decatur is in DeKalb County and is one of the best places to live in Georgia. Living in Decatur offers residents a suburban feel and most residents own their homes. In Decatur there are a lot of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. The city received an overall Niche grade of A+, on the strength of its public schools, family atmosphere, diversity and overall low crime rate. (Crime and cost of living were the city’s lowest scores. It received a C+ in both categories.)
