On Saturday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., come out to the 17th annual Kirkwood Spring Fling at Bessie Branham Park, located at 2051 Delano Drive NE.

Everyone is invited to this free day of activities in the Kirkwood neighborhood.

According to the Spring Fling website, festival goers can look forward to an artists market, live music, a kids area, and food from local vendors as well as the Blue Ribbon BBQ Cook Off.

Prior to the festival, the 10th annual Spring Fling 5K Road Race will be going on at 8:30 a.m. at the library in Kirkwood. Registration is open now, and the prices increase as race day approaches.

In addition, on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19, from 12 to 5 p.m., people are invited to go on Tour of Homes to get a glimpse of the houses in the Kirkwood neighborhood. Those interested in going on a tour can purchase tickets ahead of time online and at local businesses, or day-of during the Spring Fling.
