Refugee Employment Summit returns for the third year to Clarkston, April 19

On Friday, April 19, from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Refugee Career Hub is putting on the third annual Refugee Employment Summit, held at the Clarkston Community Center.

From 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., Friends of Refugees along with six local refugee agencies and organizations are hosting a community job fair, where there will be local jobs of all career types advertised toward the Clarkston refugee population.

Friends of Refugees is a non-profit organization that works to provide “well-being, education and employment to survivors of war-torn countries living in Clarkston, Georgia,” according to a recent press release.
