Heavy rains late last week caused more damage round Decatur.

Reader Bill Woolf said that on April 18 or April 19, this tree smacked into a newly renovated quadriplex in the 240 block of East Lake Drive.

“The tree came down overnight or early Friday morning during the heavy rain,” he said. “The tree fell through the quadriplex at 246-248 East Lake, part of which had just been renovated and is posted For Rent.”

On the Oakhurst Facebook group, another tree was reported down on West Benson Street, crushing a van and knocking out power.
