Avondale Elementary collaborated with Chastain Bernard Clark, a local artist who designed a mural for the side of the school that faces the road on Covington Highway. Now, the school is looking for feedback from the community on the project via a survey, linked below.

Those interested in seeing a “mock-up” of the mural can find one at the link below as well.

According to a recent press release, “the mural has been vetted and approved by the Avondale Elementary School community, including students, parents, and teachers. The plan has also been reviewed by Avondale Estates’ Historic Preservation Commission.”
