Next week, the Decatur Makers will partner with Eddie’s Attic to host an improv show as a fundraiser to support the non-profit’s makerspace, a press release from the organization said.

The show, titled Make It Up!, will take place at Eddie’s Attic on Tuesday, May 7. The show will feature local comedians Madison Hatfield, Suzanne Elbon and Lew Lefton, as well as improvisers from other theaters around Atlanta.

Before the show begins, attendees can take part in a number of other activities: getting scanned by Decatur Makers’ DIY full body 3D scanner, checking out cool projects from the makerspace and making projects of their own, including DIY spin art. There will also be a silent auction and a performance by Buttered Bourbon, a local Americana duo.

Funds raised will go toward new equipment and programming, support for youth outreach and the general fund to keep membership accessible for everyone, according to the release.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and the improv show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be found here.
