This summer, local non-profit S’more Smiles will run a program for patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA). On Saturday, May 18, at 3 p.m., S’more Smiles is hosting Craft Assembly Volunteer Day, an afternoon for local kids to help give children at CHOA some fun things to do this summer.

According to the Facebook event, kids will be “assembling craft packets for children bound to hospitals (CHOA) due to long term illnesses.” All ages of children are invited to participate, but they need to be accompanied by an adult.

Kids will help out by making things like s’more goodie bags, craft kits, starting lanyards, and more. There will be snacks provided as well.

The afternoon will be held in the cul de sac at the end of Candler Oaks Lane, which is located off of Kirk Road in Decatur.
