The 19th annual Decatur BBQ Blues & Bluegrass Festival will take place on Saturday, Aug. 10.

The recently announced musical lineup includes a variety of blues and bluegrass artists, including Honeywood, Roxie Watson, Grizzly Goat and Randall Bramblett.

Additionally, this year, the festival will be held on the grass and under the trees of Legacy Park (the former United Methodist Children’s Home) at 500 S. Columbia Drive in East Decatur.

“We are excited about the new opportunity to create a true festival experience and upgrade the comfort factor for our attendees,” Michael Vajda, festival director, said.

The festival hours will take place from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Pre-event tickets are $15 and are on sale here. Day-of festival tickets will be $20, and kids 12 and under are free.
