DeKalb County Police say that one of their officers was involved in a Monday evening crash on Lawrenceville Highway at Hebron Hills Drive.

The crash, which occurred around 5:20 p.m., sent the officer and the driver of the other vehicle to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

“A DeKalb Officer was going to a call when he collided with another vehicle,” a spokesperson for DeKalb PD said.

The accident blocked off lanes on Lawrenceville Highway Monday evening.
