On August 10, at 12 p.m., KidsFest and Entertainment Connections are bringing Professor Whizzpop to Eddie’s Attic, a family-friendly show of magic and comedy.

Tickets are $15 each in advance and can be purchased here.

A portion of the ticket proceeds will go to The Decatur Education Foundation program, Zara’s Fund, which goes to providing fine arts scholarships for elementary students as well as teacher innovation grants for those looking to infuse more art in their curriculum.

According to the Education Foundation, “Zara Lee Hawthorne attended kindergarten at Oakhurst Elementary in 2012-2013 and, while living in Beijing, China the following year, passed away at the age of six. Zara lived in Decatur since birth and touched the lives of many during her six years.”
