Rocket Fizz, a candy and soda pop shop, is closing its downtown Decatur location as well as its location in Suwanee.

A representative of the company told Decaturish, “We were not getting enough patronage to stay open.”

The Decatur store opened on Clairemont Avenue in 2016.

A reader told Decaturish their daughter worked at the store.

“The manager came in part way through her shift yesterday and sent her home,” the reader said.
