3rd Annual Drumming for Peace, Joy, and Unity will be held on Decatur Square
On Friday, August 2, from 7 to 9 p.m, the third annual Drumming for Peace, Joy, and Unity will be held on the Decatur Square.
Adults and kids alike are encouraged to come out and bring a drum or a shaker, dancing feet, and some heart to the gazebo on the Square “to put out good vibes to heal our world,” according to the Facebook event.
“No matter who you are or what your skill level, we’ll guarantee some high energy, uplifting fun! As Mamady Keita says, ‘The djembe does not know color, gender, age, it only knows our hearts,’” stated the event description.
This event is free and family-friendly. For more information, check out the Facebook event by clicking here.
