The newest Bell Street Burritos location is up and running Tucker.

Bell Street Burritos is located at 4053 Lawrenceville Highway, in the space formerly occupied by the El Tapatio Mexican restaurant.

General Manager Shelby Caldwell said the store opened on July 22 and there’s been a steady stream of business since the doors opened.

“It’s been great,” she said. “We’ve been slammed. I think a lot of people have been talking about us on Tucker Town Talk and Nextdoor. We haven’t done any advertising at all. It’s been word of mouth. It’s been very busy so far.”

There will be a grand opening celebration on Aug. 10 that includes a chance to win one free burrito a week for a year if you sign up to the Bell Street Burrito email list.

So what makes Bell Street unique?

“We do mission style burritos, which is not a style that is done a lot in Atlanta,” she said. ” … It’s San Francisco style, with melted cheese. None of the cheese that goes on there is going to be un-melted. It’s going to be nice and creamy.”

Bell Street also has locations in Buckhead and Old Fourth Ward, according to Eater Atlanta.
