Decatur Police on Aug. 19 investigated a report of shots fired.

“On August 19, 2019 at approximately 12:02 am, Decatur Police responded to a report of approximately five gunshots heard north of Commerce Drive and West Howard Avenue,” Police Lt. Jennifer Ross said. “Officers canvassed the area but did not locate anyone. No injuries or damage has been reported.”

She said officers didn’t locate shell casings or any other evidence of shots being fired.
