On Saturday, August 17, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Avondale Children’s Choir is hosting a yard sale at First Baptist Church Avondale Estates, located at 47 Covington Road, to aid travel costs.

According to a recent press release, “all of the proceeds from the sale will benefit the singers who will be traveling to New York City this November to perform at Carnegie Hall.”

Donations for the yard sale are being accepted now, which includes: home goods, furniture, books, knick-knacks, appliances, and toys. To donate, reach out to Kathleen Link via email at [email protected] or by phone at 404-754-2621.
