Beginning this Thursday, Sept. 19, there will be a road closure and detour at the intersection of Scott Boulevard/Lawrenceville Highway and Hollywood Drive in Decatur.

According to DeKalb County, the road closure comes as construction is beginning on the Scott Boulevard Water Main Replacement Project, which includes the upsizing of nearly 2,400 feet of water pipe in the DeKalb Industrial Boulevard area.

Jordan Lane, which connects Scott Boulevard and North Decatur Road, will be closed to through-traffic during construction. Construction is expected to end by Oct. 31.
