Second public meeting about DeKalb parks and recreation master plan set for Sept. 30

On Monday, Sept. 30, at 6 p.m., the DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs is hosting the second meeting in a public meeting series to review drafts of a master plan for both the George Luther Property and Avondale Dunaire Park.
The park is located near the the I-285 / Memorial Drive interchange.
The meeting will be held in conference room B of the DeKalb Watershed Management Building, located at 4572 Memorial Drive in Decatur.
According to a recent press release, this meeting will go over information about “current park improvements and recreation projects.”
