Avondale Estates’ Southern Surf StompFest! will return for its fifth year of music and food.

The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 21 from noon until 10 p.m. at Little Tree Art Studios (located at 2834 Franklin St, Avondale Estates, GA 30002). The event is free to attend.

According to event organizers, Southern Surf StompFest! is a family friendly, day-long event held in Avondale Estates featuring surf bands, DJ, food and beverage vendors, an artist market and more.

This year’s festival boasts a lineup that includes Surfer Joe (from Livorno, Italy, host of Surfer Joe Summer Fest), Fiend Without A Face (featuring Brent Hinds of Grammy award-winning Atlanta metal heroes, Mastodon), The Madeira, Insect Surfers (celebrating their 40th anniversary), DJ Big Tiki Dude (host of California’s Surf Guitar 101 festival) and more. 

A pre-party will be held the night before, Friday, Sept. 20 from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m., at Trader Vic’s in Atlanta (255 Courtland St NE),  featuring The Disasternauts, The Manakooras and DJ Big Tiki Dude. All ages are welcome, and the event is free.
