The command staff for the Decatur Fire Department appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show this week.

Fire Chief Toni Washington, Deputy Fire Chief Vera Morrison and assistant Fire Chief and Fire Marshall Ninetta Violante joined the host to discuss the significance of being an all female command staff.

“Get this,” Clarkson said. “They are the only all-female fire command staff in the world.”
