The Decatur Downtown Development Authority (DDA) recently put the campaign, “Decatur, Open for Business” on display with banners around the community.

According to a recent press release, “Decatur, Open for Business” campaign was launched in June 2019 “to promote Decatur as an employment center of choice for businesses seeking office space,” in hopes to find more tenants for downtown Decatur.

“It’s one thing to talk about the campaign and what we want it to represent, but putting our imaging and messaging out into the community in a way that is visually dynamic is an important step in this process,” Decatur DDA Chair, Chris Sciarrone said in a recent press release. “We hope the community embraces these symbols and knows we are serious when we say Decatur is ‘open for business.’”

In addition to banners, the DDA started a website to advertise all that the city of Decatur has to offer tenants.
