On Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., LifeLine Animal Project is hosting “Healthy Pets DeKalb,” giving DeKalb County residents an opportunity to bring their pets to get vaccinations, county registration, pet food, leashes, microchips, vouchers for spaying/neutering, and more – all for free.

Healthy Pet events are a part of LifeLine’s “initiative to keep pets out of the shelter and with the families who love them,” by making veterinary care more affordable and accessible, according to a recent press release.

In September, LifeLine hosted a Healthy Pets event in Fulton County, where they were able to provide 874 dogs and cats with free services.

“Healthy Pets DeKalb” will be held at Shoal Creek Park II, located at 3643 Glenwood Road in Decatur.
