According to the city, voters affected by the change should have received a postcard from DeKalb County Voter Registration and Elections notifying them of their new polling place.
These voters will vote in one of the following two locations:
– Decatur Precinct – Evergreen Baptist Church, 303 Fourth Avenue
– Oakhurst Precinct – Oakhurst Baptist Church, 222 East Lake Drive
“If you haven’t received the notification postcard or are still unsure of your election precinct, contact DeKalb County Voter Registration and Elections at 404-298-4020 and [email protected] or use the Georgia Secretary of State’s ‘My Voter Page’ at https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/mvp.do to check out your information,” the city announced on its Decatur Minute blog.
According to the city and Elections Board member Baoky Vu, City Schools of Decatur requested the change.
