The Avondale Estates Garden Club will host its annual Holiday Bazaar this Saturday at the Avondale Community Club.

Offering a variety of holiday items for sale, the annual event will use its proceeds to benefit the club’s beautification, charitable and educational projects within the Avondale community.

According to the group, items for sale include holiday decorations, themed gift baskets, one-of-a-kind birdhouses, specialty bath and apparel products, garden décor, jewelry, books, homemade baked goods and the group’s popular cheese straws.

The event will take place on Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lake Avondale, 59 Lakeshore Drive. Additionally, the event is free and open to the public.
