DeKalb County residential sanitation services closed for Thanksgiving Day

On Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, the sanitation collection for DeKalb County residents will be closed.

Residents that normally have sanitation collection scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays will stay on the same schedule.

For residents who normally have sanitation collection on Thursdays, their services will be delayed until Friday, Nov. 29.

In addition, the DeKalb County Sanitation Division administrative office, the North Transfer Station, and the Seminole Road Landfill will all be closed in observance of Thanksgiving on Nov. 28 as well as Friday, Nov. 29, all of which will reopen on Monday, Dec. 2 for normal business hours.
