DeKalb County revises residential sanitation collection for the week of Veterans Day

On Monday, Nov. 11, the DeKalb County Sanitation Division will be closed for Veterans Day, delaying collection of garbage, recycling, and yard trimmings for residents by a day.

The schedule for collection can be found below, as listed in a recent press release:

– Monday, Nov. 11: Veterans Day observed. No sanitation collection service.

– Tuesday, Nov. 12: Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is Monday will be serviced on Tuesday.

– Wednesday, Nov. 13: Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is Tuesday will be serviced on Wednesday.

– Thursday, Nov. 14: Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is Wednesday will be serviced on Thursday.

– Friday, Nov. 15: Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is Thursday will be serviced on Friday.

In addition to residential collection services, the Sanitation Division’s administrative office, Central and North Transfer Stations, and Seminole Road Landfill will all be closed for Veterans Day on Monday, Nov. 11, opening again on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
