DeKalb County Sanitation Division to offer free curbside collection of bulky items for residents

Starting on Nov. 22, 2019 and lasting through Dec. 21, 2019, the DeKalb County Sanitation Division if offering free curbside collection of bulky items for residents.

Bulky curbside collection will be scheduled for residents based on their normal sanitation service day. Bulky items include large appliances and furniture.

Below, is the residential schedule for bulky items, as listed in a recent press release:

– Residential customers whose regularly scheduled sanitation service day is Monday will be serviced on Friday, Nov. 22, or Saturday, Nov. 23. To prevent collection delays, items should be placed at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 22.

– Residential customers whose regularly scheduled sanitation service day is Tuesday will be serviced on Friday, Dec. 6, or Saturday, Dec. 7. To prevent collection delays, items should be placed at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 6.

– Residential customers whose regularly scheduled sanitation service day is Wednesday will be serviced on Friday, Dec. 13, or Saturday, Dec. 14. To prevent collection delays, items should be placed at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 13.

– Residential customers whose regularly scheduled sanitation service day is Thursday will be serviced on Friday, Dec. 20, or Saturday, Dec. 21. To prevent collection delays, items should be placed at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 20.
