DeKalb County to host ‘A Taste of Memorial Drive’ on Nov. 16, with food, art, and more

Tomorrow, Nov. 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., DeKalb County is hosting “A Taste of Memorial Drive” at the conference center of Georgia Piedmont Technical College, located at 495 N. Indian Creek Drive in Clarkston.

“A Taste of Memorial Drive” will be similar to a festival, with food, art and jewelry vendors.

In addition to the festivities, the Memorial Drive Revitalization Plan project team will have the plan’s process and ideas on display –a plan taken on by the DeKalb County Department of Planning and Sustainability to improve the economy the Memorial Drive corridor.

According to a recent press release, this event will be “a celebration of the time, effort, and ideas brought forth by the community throughout the Memorial Drive Revitalization Plan process, while highlighting Memorial Drive’s assets and resources. “
