DeKalb Police on Dec. 5 responded to a report of an armed robbery near the Walmart at Suburban Plaza.

The crime occurred around 9:30 a.m.

The victim told police he was getting off of a MARTA bus near the Point on Scott apartment complex and was about to cross the street. He told police an “unknown male, wearing a black hoodie, black ski mask, blue jeans and olive shoes” stuck a gun in his back and told the victim to “give me everything.”

The victim said he didn’t have anything and the suspect said he had seen the victim’s wallet. The victim turned over his wallet. The suspect fled toward North Decatur Road and Blackmon Drive. The wallet contained $10 in cash, a MARTA Breeze card and a bank card.
