The new Del Taco restaurant in Tucker will open Dec. 4.

The restaurant gave away free meals during lunch on Dec. 3 as part of its soft opening. There will be free meal giveaways on the evening of Dec. 3 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. while supplies last.

The store will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. according to an employee handing out meal cards during the soft opening on Tuesday. The Del Taco is located on LaVista Road in what was formerly the home of Pollo Tropical, in front of Target. The menu is similar to what you’d see at Taco Bell, but includes other kinds of fast food fare like burgers and french fries.
