The notice that went out to residents from the attorney representing the property owner says:

You are receiving this notice because you own property within 500 feet of 2245 Northlake Parkway, Tucker, Georgia 30084 (Parcel #18-210-03-019). I represent the owner of the subject property. We are seeking a rezoning on the property from NL-2 to NL-4 to accommodate the redevelopment of the front office building into a townhome (for lease) project as shown on the conceptual site plan enclosed herein.

We are inviting you to attend the public participation meeting so that we may engage with you and provide you an opportunity to learn more about the project and ask any questions you may have.

The original letter that went to neighbors contained an incorrect parcel ID number and an incorrect address, but the correct information has been confirmed and included in this article.

Carl Westmoreland, another attorney representing the owner, said that the plan is to develop the front part of the property into town homes and leave the remainder of the property as office space. He said the property currently is zoned to allow apartments. The zoning request would rezone it to allow town homes.

Here is a map showing the location of the property being discussed:

According to county property tax records, the registered owner of the property is SDM Northlake LLC. The company acquired the property in 2018.
